Note that Mastodonv2.3.0added an account archive download feature: \"Every 7 days you are ableto request a full archive of your toots. The toots are exported inActivityPub JSON format alongside the media files attached to them, your avatar and header images as well as the private key of youraccount used for signing content.\" If all you want to do is have abackup of your data, perhaps that is enough and you don't need thistool. Use something likemastodon-data-viewer.pyto browse the archive.
dice.camp.user.kensanata.json is the JSON file with your data (butwithout your media attachments). If this file exists, only the missingtoots will be downloaded the next time you run the app. If you suspecta problem and want to make sure that everything is downloaded again, you need to remove this file.
If you have downloaded your media attachments, these will be used inthe HTML files. Thus, if you want to upload the HTML files, you nowneed to upload the media directory as well or all the media links willbe broken.
Getting Mastodon on your Android device is simple, and there are multiple ways to do it. First is downloading the official app from Google Play Store and automatically installing it to your device. An alternative is through the use of third-party Mastodon clients such as Tusky, Subway Tooter, or the Fediverse client Fedilab. The procedure remains the same regardless of the client you use: click download and allow third-party installations.
Elon Musk has purchased Twitter. Now, millions of users across the world are heading for greener pastures. Self-hosted social networking service Mastodon, for instance, has been downloaded 650,739 times this week.
Things began to change in late April when Musk first struck a deal with Twitter. Mastodon hit a single-day record of 61,164 downloads on April 27th, 2022, before settling in at roughly 1,000 - 2,000 downloads per day throughout June, July, August, and September.
For just the month of November, Mastodon's web traffic jumped 1,000% year-over-year on just 200 of its more popular servers, according to SimilarWeb data. The platform has about 1,000 servers set up, but some host only one user. Downloads of its iOS app are up more than 4,000% since Oct. 24, with daily active users up 6,000% to more than 1 million, according to Apptopia data. However, downloads have started to drop off over the last month, falling by 52%. Daily users have held steady though, at 1.4 million, a major increase from its usage prior to Musk's takeover of Twitter, which typically hovered around 20,000 daily users.
Like Mastodon, the service has seen huge growth since Musk took over Twitter. Downloads of the iOS app have grown 290,000% to 1.5 million since Oct. 24, with daily users up 660,000% to 321,000, according to Apptopia data. A major user security issue revealed at the end of November is at least partly to blame for Hive's 88% drop in downloads over the last month. Yet, it has maintained more than 500,000 daily users.
The platform has received less public and media attention than Mastodon or Hive, but that doesn't mean it hasn't also grown in the wake of Musk's Twitter takeover. It's reached 110,000 downloads of its iOS app, an increase of 4,500% since the end of October, with daily users up 2,500% to about 18,000, according to Apptopia. Monthly usage is still up by 44%, although, like Mastodon and Hive, downloads have dropped off in the last month, falling by 83%.
At any time you want, you can go to Settings > Export and download a CSV file for your current followed accounts, your currently created lists, your currently blocked accounts, your currently muted accounts, and your currently blocked domains. Your following, blocking, muting, and domain-blocking lists can be imported at Settings > Import, where they can either be merged or overwritten.
Requesting an archive of your posts and media can be done once every 7 days, and can be downloaded in ActivityPub JSON format. Mastodon currently does not support importing posts or media due to technical limitations, but your archive can be viewed by any software that understands how to parse ActivityPub documents.
Mastodon also lets you download an archive of your posts and media every 7 days. This data is downloaded in the ActivityPub JSON format that is readable by any software that knows how to parse ActivityPub files. But you cannot currently import this data to another account on Mastodon.
When the testing period is over, you'll no longer be able to open the beta build. To install the App Store version of the app, download or purchase the app from the App Store. In-app purchases are free only during beta testing, and any in-app purchases made during testing will not carry over to App Store versions.
Note: To automatically download additional in-app content and assets in the background once a beta app is installed in iOS 16, iPadOS 16, or macOS 13, turn on Additional In-App Content in your App Store settings for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Download festival was founded by Stuart Galbraith, Tom Pyke and Andy Copping, who reportedly chose the name to emphasize that in the 21st century the Internet provides connectivity for the rock audience. In 2003 festival tickets even had a code which would allow downloading of tracks that were played at the festival.
Mastodons lived in the Pacific Northwest long before people did. The mastodon jawbone that was found is estimated to be between 5 and 8 million years old, based on the level of mineralization of the bone and age of nearby geological layers.
Mastodons were ancient elephants that ate leaves and twigs and probably lived in forests. Mastodons were slightly smaller than mammoths, though both are comparable to modern-day elephants, and had a slightly different appearance. For example, mastodons had flatter heads than mammoths and their tusks did not grow as curved.
Teeth were another difference. Mammoths were mainly grass eaters and had flat, plate-like teeth. Mastodons ate woodier vegetation, a diet leading to the cone-shaped ridges of the teeth of the mastodon jawbone found in April.
The fossil will ultimately be displayed at the Ice Harbor Visitor Center. Currently, the jawbone is on loan to Dr. Brett Lenz, Cultural Resources Manager for the Wanapum Heritage Center Repository. Lenz and a team of researchers will be investigating the jawbone to determine the precise species of the mastodon, the age of the fossil, the conditions of its burial and preservation, and a little bit about the individual the fossil belonged to.
This plugin allows Bitlbee to communicate with Mastodoninstances. Mastodon is a free, open-source, decentralizedmicroblogging network. Bitlbee is an IRC server connecting to variousother text messaging services. You run Bitlbee and connect to itusing an IRC client, then configure Bitlbee to connect to otherservices, such as a Mastodon instance where you already have anaccount. The benefit is that you can now use any IRC client you wantto connect to Mastodon.
